Our New Luxury Boutique Rooms Are Now Ready!

We’ve been working tirelessly on our latest phase of work on our fantastically quirky 400 + year old building, our luxury boutique bed and breakfast rooms!

Renovated and restored in July 2017 our luxury king size bedrooms offer en-suite facilities including walk in rainfall showers, 3 rooms also benefiting from roll top baths. All rooms offer Dolce Gusto coffee machine with complimentary pods, 43″ smart TV, free WIFI, hairdryer, luxury toiletries, bathrobes, Hypnos mattresses and hypoallergenic bedding.

In 1433/34 King Henry VI granted the town of Alnwick a licence to be enclosed in a wall to help protect it by attack from the Scots. But raising funds to pay for the work proved very difficult and took many years before it was completed. Finally the wall was completed and protected by four gates, Bondgate, Clayport, Pottergate and Narrowgate. These four gates provide the inspiration and names for our four bedrooms. Rooms will be available to book on our website in the next few days, with the opening date being 3rd August.
